MPHM – 720: Navigating Hospitality Law for the Non-Legal Professional

This January, I joined the Faculty of Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies.  I am co-teaching a course titled, “Navigating Hospitality Law for the Non-Legal Professional.”  My students are pursuing Masters in Professional Studies degrees in Hospitality Management. A copy of the course syllabus is linked below.  I have enjoyed teaching the course and believe our students are enjoying it as well.  During the past few years, Georgetown has made a tremendous investment in its School of Continuing Studies.  The school now operates from its own building in downtown Washington, D.C.  It’s a fantastic new building with tremendous facilities.  All or nearly all of the classes there (including our own) are taught during the evening to accommodate professional students who work during the day.  I’m happy to help my alma mater contribute to, and benefit from, a vibrant hospitality industry with so many of its corporate headquarters located in the D.C. area.
